Independent screenings provide screeners with lots of flexibility to host a custom event that features the Girl Winter film tour programming.

After details are agreed upon, independent screeners are free to set up, promote, and run their event as they see fit. The Girl Winter team will provide basic support to set up your screening.

We offer two licensing packages:

Independent Screening ($750): Film package, customizable assets, event will NOT be listed as an official stop on girlwinterfilmtour.com, ticketing handled by organizer

Please note: Independent screenings will not be listed on the official Girl Winter film tour website unless a revenue share from tickets has been agreed upon.

Bonus Screening ($1500): Film package, additional marketing support, customized graphic assets, event listing as an official stop on girlwinterfilmtour.com, access to Girl Winter ticketing platform

A screening fee of $750 or $1500 shall be due to Girl Winter Film Tour, LLC no later than 7 days before your event. Your screening fee is non-refundable. Upon receiving payment and a signed copy of the agreement, screeners will receive digital access to the film 7-14 days before their event.

The Girl Winter film tour team cannot guarantee exclusivity for any screening dates or locations. Please refer to THIS list of Independent Screenings to see whether another organization in your community will be showing the film.

Use: Under this agreement, the screener may publicly show Girl Winter Film Tour a total of (1) one time unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. Any other usage or distribution of the films and the tour’s promotional materials is prohibited.

Licensed Films Include: Mimic, Trails Still Blazing, Dear Superhero, Queen of the Catskills, Let My People Go Skiing, That One Friend, and Glitter (Midwest/East Coast showings only)

Multiple Showings: If you would like to plan multiple showings of the film program, please contact us to discuss pricing for additional screenings/events.

Ticketing: All ticketing will be handled by the screener unless otherwise agreed upon. Ticket pricing is at the screener’s discretion, but should not exceed $30.00 per ticket. You are not required to charge admission for your screening and are welcome to offer admission for free if it suits you!

Films may look and sound different depending on the technical specificationss of the projector and speakers used at your venue. The Advice for Girls team is not able to offer technical support for on-site screening needs.

We recommend having technical support lined up for your event! Your venue may have a technical support person to help with your event. We recommend testing the film at your venue in advance of opening doors for guests to allow your team to troubleshoot any technical issues and ensure that the film looks and sounds the best that it can.

As an independent screener of Girl Winter Film Tour, I/we agree to uphold the tour’s core values of fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all during our screening and any other associated events.

This film series highlights the experiences of many women in the ski industry and discusses topics such as racial identity, gender identity, and more. As a screener of Girl Winter Film Tour, you agree to respect and honor the perspectives and experiences shared by women in the films.

* If the screener does not uphold this agreement in advance of the screening, the Girl Winter Film Tour team reserves the right to terminate your access to the film and your screening fee will be forfeited.
